I am a freelance editor. I have taken on editing various assignments in a variety of academic fields for international graduate students at Texas A&M: essays, proposals, assignments, dissertations, abstracts, etc.
BACKGROUND:
I have graduate and undergrad degrees in technical/industrial and business studies, having obtained training in Europe, Canada and USA. My wife and I have resided in Brazos County since 1979.

Estimates are based on a standard page (double-spaced, 12-pt font).
Rates depend on the type of project and the complexity.
SIMPLE, FAST, QUICK:
Proofreading is a service to catch punctuation, spelling, and grammar issues: 12-15 pages per hour.
STANDARD
Standard edit includes spelling, punctuation, grammar, transitions, word choice, basic sentence structure, etc: 8-10 pages, per hour.
SUBSTANTIVE
Substantive edit or revising service: 3-5 pages, per hour. I strongly recommend this for your abstracts.
