1. Qualifications
l You have experience scaling data architectures with tradeoffs for cost, availability, performance and resiliency.
l You act like an owner and strive to do work you're proud of, both technically and in your team interactions. You are able to inspire other people to work with you, and you enjoy mentoring and coaching more junior engineers
l You have DevOps experience implementing large scale data stacks using AWS managed and server-less architectures.
l You love building distributed client/server systems in one of the following - Python, Java or Scala.
l You have had experience operating big data stacks running EMR/Hadoop/Spark/Hive.
l Good to have experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Serverless/
l Good to have configuration management experience via Ansible/Puppet.
l Nice to have exposure in running/scaling Kubernetes
l You have 5+ years of relevant experience
