Design Engineer
YUDO Inc - Livonia, MI

YUDO Inc. is a subsidiary of YUDO Co., Ltd, the world leader in Hot Runner Systems and Auxiliary systems (for plastic injection molding).

At YUDO Inc., we provide professional sales and service to the U.S. and Canada from our office located in Livonia, MI.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of drafting tasks.
Develop 2D and 3D CAD designs per requirement.
Prepare plans, layouts, assembly drawings, detail drawings and sketches as directed by senior design engineer or design engineer II.
Revise existing drawings as required.
Responsible for maintaining accurate designs and drawing archives and revision history.

Be able to communicate effectively while working in a team environment.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
0-1 year CAD design experience (experience in Mold shop or Tooling shop is preferred)
Strong AUTO CAD, 3D CAD/CAM (Unigraphics (NX) and SolidWorks) knowledge and skills are required.
Mold and Die shop experience is plus.
Hot Runner System experience is preferred.
Must have good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills both in verbal and written form.
Foreign language skill is plus. (Korean, Spanish, or Chinese)

Basic knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, ERP Systems.

Required experience:

Strong AUTO CAD, 3D CAD/CAM (Unigraphics (NX) and SolidWorks) knowledge and skills are required.: 1 year

Required education:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
