Dr. Li-Jen Kuo, Associate Professor and Director of the Cross-Linguistic Literacy and Cognition (CLIC) Research Group at Texas A&M University, is looking for talented and motivated students with interests in applied linguistics, second language acquisition, educational psychology, bilingual/ heritage, and world language education, and technology in education and second language acquisition to join the CLIC Research Group and the graduate programs in the Department of Teaching, Learning & Culture. We welcome new members with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds to join us!
Dr. Kuo is committed to mentoring the next generation of researchers and has a successful mentoring record. Her students have won prestigious external awards in the field, including fellowships from the Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) International Association, American Educational Research Association, American Psychological Association, and Education Testing Service (ETS).
