Participate in the Literacy and
Emotion Project!

Neurobiological Lab for Learning and Development
The purpose of this study is to better understand the relation between reading ability and cognition in children. The participants will complete several tasks related to their reading skills and cognitive functioning. We will ask participants to read science texts on a computer screen while we record their eye movements with an eye tracker. Parents are asked to wait in our waiting room during the session.
· Who: Fourth or Fifth grades elementary students who are fluent in English
· When: Approximately one hour during one-time scheduled visit to the lab.
· Where: Harrington Building (Main Campus), Room 715A, Texas A&M University
· Compensation: $20 Amazon gift card for time and travel
