The applications for the 2015 Young Generation Forum (YGF) are due in less than a week! The forum will be held from June 29th to July 2nd, 2015, in Seoul, South Korea.The applications deadline is Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 (at 11:59pm PT). Please pass on this information to any young generation member or groups who might be interested. Since 2002, KOFST and KSEA have been hosting the annual YGF by bringing together 120 of the brightest young Korean Heritage scientists and engineers from all over the world to Korea. KSEA is proud to be able to send about 24 delegates from the US for FREE to the event. Some key points are highlight below:
Financial Support:
• Free event registration
• Free meals and lodging for 4 days and 4 nights
• Travel stipend to cover the round-trip airfare from U.S. to Korea (amounts tbd)
Eligibility:
• Current college junior or senior, current or entering graduate student, or post-doctoral fellow
• Background / major in science, engineering, or technology
• 1.5, 2nd or later generation Korean-American
• U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
• Born in 1982 or later.
• Must NOT have attended a prior YGF
• Conversational in English with basic understanding of Korean
• Must be certain of availability during June 29 to July 2, 2015.
• Note special consideration made for applicants with socially disadvantaged backgrounds (e.g. adoptee, orphan, single parent).

3. Submit your proof of legal USA residency (by Wednesday, March 18, 2015; 11:59 PM PT).
