JOB DESCRIPTION:
The student will participate in a service and research project that introduces Chinese and Korean languages and cultures to elementary school children in the community.
Qualifications:
Must be an A&M undergraduate student and be able to commit two semesters;
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States;
Strong writing and interpersonal skills required;
Previous coursework in cognitive psychology, linguistics, second language acquisition or literacy education is preferred;
Proficiency in Chinese or Korean is preferred but not required;
Must be available on Mondays and Wednesdays 2:45-5pm in the fall and spring semesters.
